Explore the relationship between art making, community building, and the power of personal experiences and stories as source material for devising while considering the role of applied theatre in the classroom, in production, and as part of a theatre program. Daniel draws on his work in Hip Hop Theatre, his M.A. in Applied Theatre at CUNY, and as Co-Director of Theatre Without Borders during this experiential Master Class. Learn how these fun and interactive exercises can be applied in most every setting. Open to all who wish to consider how theatre can be a catalyst for healing in communities and beyond. Cost $35.
