Discover in active play how all the Chekhov tools and concepts are united and can have a logical learning structure that enriches us as performers and human beings. If you have seen any of Mr. Chekhov’s character sketches, you know he loved to express in images. Fortunately shortly before he passed, he summed up his whole technique drawing a Chart for Inspired Acting for his protégé, Mala Powers, who in turn gave it to Lisa. Mr. Chekhov also created The Goblet and the Graph of Imaginative Development for teachers to further understand his pedagogy. Lisa Dalton will share these interactively with experiential games and exercises to help us grasp how to meet three universal challenges all storytellers must.
