A Southern sound can help the actor, but there are times when it gets in the way. This workshop equips actors with the tools necessary to neutralize a Southern accent to achieve a standard American sound.

Assistant Professor, Clemson UNiversity
Kerrie Seymour lives in South Carolina where she teaches acting at Clemson University. She has an M.F.A. from Trinity Rep in Providence, RI, and she often works at Greenville's The Warehouse Theatre where her many credits include Lost in Yonkers (Bella), Reckless (Rachel), Hamlet (Gertrude) and David Sedaris' one-woman show Season's Greetings.
