Nancy Gall-Clayton loves playwriting and collaborating with other theatre artists. She's written more than 80 plays (many are “tens” or one-acts, including 11 about Kentucky women). Her work has been on stages in half the states and on four continents. "The Colored Door at the Train Depot" about a WWII WAC was produced at Actors Warehouse in Florida in 2019, and Indiana’s Khaos Theatre will produce her comedy "The Wedding Dress" in its 2019-2020 season. Her award-winning full-lengths include "Lightening Up," "Bernice Sizemore’s 70th Birthday," and two Civil War dramas, "General Orders No. 11" and "I’m Wearing My Own Clothes!" Nancy belongs to the Dramatists Guild, the International Centre for Women Playwrights, the New Play Exchange, and the 365 Woman a Year Playwriting Project.
