Sarah McCarroll

Georgia Southern University
Sarah McCarroll is an Assistant Professor of Theatre at Georgia Southern University, where she is also a member of the Center for Irish Teaching and Research. She teaches courses ranging from Script Analysis and Theatre History to Costume Design and Stage Makeup, and is the Costume Shop manager. Sarah holds a PhD from Indiana University in Theatre History, Theory, and Literature and an MFA in Costume Design and Technology from the University of Alabama. Sarah’s work will be published in volume 23 of SETC's Theatre Symposium and in the forthcoming Methuen anthology Languages, Bodies and Ecologies: Theatre, Performance and Cognition. Since 2003, her professional home has been the Utah Shakespeare Festival where she has been a member of both the costume and dramaturgy departments.
