Allison M. Steadman: BA in Theatre from Mississippi University for Women, MFA in Costume Design from University of Tennessee, has been a professional costume designer, technologist, and educator for over 25 years. She is currently teaching at Francis Marion University where, in addition to her designing, teaching and First-Year Initiative Coordinator duties, she is conducting research on the historical clothing collection at Hobcaw Barony through the Belle W. Baruch Institute for South Carolina Studies. Her designs can be seen in south eastern regional theatres, most notably The Warehouse Theatre in Greenville, SC. Allison lives in Florence, SC with her constant companions: her husband Shawn and two dogs.
