Eric C. Browne Eric earned his BFA in Theatre (Acting/Directing) in 2006 from the University of Montevallo and his Master of Liberal Arts degree from Spring Hill College in 2011. He is an actor, director, and theatre teacher in Mobile, AL. Eric has been a high school theatre educator for eight years and currently teaches theatre at Baker High School. He most recently directed I Love You, You’re Perfect Now Change at the University of South Alabama in September 2013. In 2006, Eric was awarded the John Gassner Playwriting Award as well as the Walter and Willilee Trumbauer Theatre Award. For his acting and directing credits at the Mobile Theatre Guild (MTG) he was awarded the Best Newcomer Award (2010), the All Star Cast Award (2011), the Danny Conway Award (2012), and Best Director (2013). His production of 1776 the Musical at the Joe Jefferson Playhouse was selected as Best Production for the 2012-2013 season. Eric is finishing his very busy directing season with The 39 Steps and Forbidden Broadway at MTG and Pippin at Baker High. In 2014, he will serve his fourth term as District 5 Chair for the Alabama Conference of Theatre's Walter Trumbauer Secondary Theatre Festival.
