Lee Blair is Associate Professor of Acting and Musical Theatre at West Virginia University.
Lee Blair is Associate Professor of Acting & Musical Theatre with West Virginia University. His teaching is Stanislavski-based with emphases in comedy, musical theatre and auditioning. As a director for the WVU School of Theatre & Dance, Lee has helmed productions such as The Moors, Pirates of Penzance, Noises Off, Seminar, Cabaret, Lend Me a Tenor and Urinetown. From 2008-2012 and 2014, Lee was production director for Tennessee Governorâs School for the Arts at Middle Tennessee State University. Professionally, he has directed for theatres such as West Virginia Public Theatre, Greenbrier Valley Theatre and Mountain State Repertory Theatre. A graduate from University of Florida with a MFA in Acting, Leeâs acting career has included works off-Broadway, off-off Broadway and regionally for Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre, FringeNYC, Emelin Theatre, Hippodrome State Theatre, Alhambra Dinner Theatre, Greenbrier Valley Theatre and West Virginia Public Theatre.
