ROBERT PLOWMAN is a Canadian playwright and collaborative theatre artist. Most recently: THE MATADOR was produced in Roanoke and Los Angeles; and his collaboration with Secret Theatre, the audio installation FOLKLOREMOBILE, debuted at the Nocturne: Art at Night festival in Halifax. Robert’s play RADIUM CITY was published in Volume 9 of the New Canadian Drama anthology series, and THE MISSING LINK appears in the fall 2014 issue of Southern Theatre Magazine. Upcoming: THE MNEMONIST, a Canadian Cold War spy story, will premiere in Halifax, spring 2015. Robert's work has been developed at the MacDowell Colony, the Playwrights Theatre Centre Colony, and the Great Plains Theatre Conference, and he is the winner of the 2014 Getchell New Play Award. He holds an MFA in playwriting from the Playwright's Lab at Hollins University.
