Scott Hayes is the dean for the School of Visual & Performing Arts at Liberty University. He is is a professor in the Department of Theatre Arts, where he directs and teaches the Meisner acting approach. Scott is a member of SAG/AFTRA and AEA, and has been teaching and administering online and residential university arts programs for more than two decades, during which he has worked at six universities in the United States and England. Scott has been active with SETC since 2001. As an artistic director of a professional theatre company, he was active in the professional division until 2008. Since then, Scott Hayes been presenting and publishing on emerging trends and pedagogy in production and performance. His work has been featured in Southern Theatre magazine. He serves as chair of the Religion and Theatre committee, and is on the editorial board for Southern Theatre.
