Tenika Dye Burgess co-founded (with her husband) The Society for Stone Soup, an Arts and Technology Gathering Space dedicated to helping people “be better together” while also expanding her work in Applied Theatre, the practice of theatre in non-traditional settings and/or with marginalized communities. She is the chair of the newly formed SETC Applied Theatre Interest Group. Her work in Theatre as well Ministry has taken her to NY, VA, TX, China, Hong Kong, Jordan, Romania, and Ireland. She is also an Adjunct Instructor for Vol State Community College. But her most challenging and rewarding roles have been the recent addition of wife and bonus-mom
